DeleteValue Class

Command used to delete a value from Riak.

As a convenience, a builder class is provided:

 var deleteValue = new DeleteValue.Builder()
     .withBucket('myBucket')
     .withKey('myKey')
     .withVClock(vclock)
     .withCallback(callback)
     .build();

Parameters:

  • options Object

    The options for this command.

    • [bucketType=default] String optional

      The bucket type in Riak. If not suppled 'default' is used.

    • bucket String

      The bucket in Riak.

    • key String

      The key for the object you want to delete.

    • [vclock] Buffer optional

      The vector clock to use.

    • [timeout] Number optional

      Set a timeout for this operation.

    • [r] Number optional

      The R value to use.

    • [pr] Number optional

      The PR value to use.

    • [w] Number optional

      The W value to use.

    • [dw] Number optional

      The DW value to use.

    • [pw] Number optional

      The PW value to use.

    • [rw] Number optional

      The RW value to use.

  • callback Function

    The callback to be executed when the operation completes.

    • err String

      An error message. Will be null if no error.

    • response Boolean

      the response from Riak. Will be true unless there was an error.

    • data Object

      additional error data. Will be null if no error.
